where are my thermal fuses in a admiral dryer?
Q. Hi, my Admiral Designer Series Heavy Duty 22lb Giant Campacity Plus quit working last week. I'v tested the door switch, power supply ,and a blue thermal fuse, all with a Om meter with good results. What else could this possibly be. Is there more than one internal fuse??? If so where do I find it. Do you know any links for a diagram of my dryer. Any help is very appreciated.

A. Thermal fuses protect the unit and its parts from getting to hot and possibly catching on fire. When you say it quit working do you mean it no longer heats up to dry the clothes or the motor no longer runs. Have you checked your circuit breaker and outlet for juice. What were the last set of conditions on its last task.

How common is it for a horse to be related to War Admiral?
Q. I am looking at a TB mare to buy, and I saw that she is related to War Admiral. Is that a common thing?
Asked by appyfreek7 - Sat Feb 6 10:23:42 2010 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments

A. It greatly depends on how she is related. If she is, it is many generations back. Not long ago I was at my coop and saw an add for a horse for sale claiming to be the Granddaughter of Secretariat. I thought it was some kind of hoax, so I did some digging one it. I found out that she was indeed the Granddaughter of Sec. So, it is possible for this mare to have War Admiral in her breeding background.

A. If you're asking if he caused the Tunguska event, it's a fun hypothesis that I enjoy, but no, he didn't. 100 years ago we didn't know much about meteoric interactions with the atmosphere, and wild speculation like this ran around about the cause of the event. We know a lot more now though, and all the evidence matches well with an air burst by a comet or asteroid.

A. It's not going to get you in if unqualified, or keep you out if well qualified - but as far as recommendation letters go, yes, it'd be a good one to get.

A. Gugliamo has it mostly right. The part I'd take exception to - the "few bucks in pay" part. O-7 to O-8 is a jump of $1500 to $2000 a month in base pay alone, depending on years of service. If 20 grand a year or so is your definition of "few bucks in pay"...send me a few! Another nuance, for the Coast Guard anyway, is that the O-7s typically start in HQ or joint staff tours, the operational flag officers (the District Commanders) are the O-8s. Yes, the Coast Guard and Navy ranks work exactly the same. And to echo "Navy Wife" - anyone above O-6 is addressed as "Admiral", O-7 to O-10.

A. These claims are only unfounded in the minds of the Obama supporters. For them, Obama can do no wrong and those making the claims probably are being paid by George Bush.

Why do republicans have such comtempt fo Admiral Allen, Obama's point man for the BP Spill?
Q. In the face of overwhelming odds, Admiral Allen is doing a better job than could be expected. Is it because he is part of the Obama Team now? Do you think that he and Obama should be capable of stopping a spewing oil gusher caused by BP? Since Admiral Allen is in charge, negative comments about Obama and the BP Spill disparage the fine Admiral. I thought repubs supported the trooops.

A. it could be a couple of things that relate to the auto defrost... #1 and the easiest and quickest, is to make sure the fridge is level (Have you moved it recently?). If you don't have a level, you can open the freezer door, clear the bottom shelf and pour a little water on it , Watch where the water moves to... What I'm trying to say is, there is a drain tube underneath the coils on the back wall of the freezer, it runs down the back of the fridge to the condensate pan under the fridge where the water evaporates from the heat of the motor/compressor . If the fridge is tilted forward, the water won't go down the tube untill it overflows and you've got a mess... The 2'nd thing still refers to the drain tube, it could be clogged or the inlet… [cont.]

A. Throughout history, there have been many great military leaders honored for their service to their countries. The great Korean commander, Admiral Yi Sun-shin, of the late sixteenth century, belongs with the best of the military leaders in any part of the world. In 1592, Toyotomi Hideyoshi gave the order to invade Korea. His plan was to sweep through the peninsula and then conquer China. Hideyoshi's plans may have been accomplished if it weren't for the leadership of Admiral Yi of the Korean Navy. He alone was responsible for turning the tide of this important era of Asian history.
