I've noticed that the reservoir (where I suppose to put the salt pellets) has water. Is this normal? Should the reservoir have water in it? If so why? I have one that tends to hold about 2-3 inches of water in the bottom of the salt storage area as well. According to what I was told (if I remember it correctly), the "tank" will fill to a certain level to make a salt "brine" solution that will then be circulated through the system (not sure how it works, just know that it does), and that there will always be a little bit of water left-over for the beginning of the next solution. Not sure why this is, or if I remember it correctly, but it seems to my memory that this is what the repair guy from SEARS said when I had nozzles replaced in mine 2 years ago (system is over 10 years old and works great).
